Unity Shabbat at Chabad of Poway

Our world has been rocked by the horrors of this past week. As the community in Poway grapples with the magnitude that we experienced, Shabbat offers us a profound opportunity to come together for solace, healing and to refocus our efforts to bring light to the world. 

Please join us this Friday evening, May 3rd, at 7:00 pm followed by Kiddush on the front patio for services followed by a Shabbat unity dinner at Chabad of Poway for the Chabad of Poway Community and families of victims. (please stay for kiddush and challah). 

In response to Rabbi Goldstein's request for Jews across the world to do extra mitzvot and "fill the synagogues," we encourage everyone to go to their  Chabad or local synagogue, and #ShareShabbat  with their friends and loved ones. As well as women light Shabbat candles before the onset of Shabbat in Lori's merit and men don tefillin in the merit of the recovery of all those injured, including Rabbi Goldstein, and shield all of us from this kind event in the future.
